FeroSticker: fire suppression that responds automatically to heat
FeroSticker makes compact fire-suppression units for suitable small enclosed compartments. Heat activates the device, releasing an aerosol without electricity, batteries or someone operating a manual control.

A local response inside the enclosure
The published activation point is approximately 170°C at the unit. The aerosol is released into the enclosed volume for which the model has been selected, giving the product a defined location and purpose.
We like that the operation is independent of the vessel's power supply. The design does not require another electrical system to make the response happen, which is a practical feature for equipment intended to act during a fire.
Choose according to the protected space
F01, F03 and F09 models suit different enclosure volumes. Size, internal arrangement and installation requirements determine the selection. The compact format may help in limited space, but the manufacturer’s intended application remains central.
For owners reviewing equipment areas, this means evaluating a specific suitable compartment rather than assuming a small device protects the whole machinery space. The enclosure and device need to be considered together.
Why we feature FeroSticker
A boat can contain equipment that is not in the crew's view during an outing. We feature FeroSticker because it offers an automatic response within an appropriate enclosed space where a developing fire may initially be hidden.
Small size, heat activation and independence from power are tangible benefits. They give owners a clear product to investigate when reviewing compartment fire suppression as part of the wider work of maintaining and preparing a vessel.
